New Yahoo! Connector added to mpsConnect
Syndicating content to Yahoo!‘s vast media publishing network is now easier with our new Yahoo! Connector. This Connector helps customers deliver media files to Yahoo!‘s publishing properties including portal sites, video search indexes, mobile sites, and partner outlets. Just upload your file, and the Connector does the rest.
Easily publish to Yahoo!
Using our video publishing services and tools, our new Yahoo! Connector allows you to:
- Ingest your file with our Ingest Service by either dropping it into a Watch Folder or by adding it to a feed that our Feed Reader monitors
- Translate your metadata file format into Yahoo!‘s proprietary XML format
- Transcode your files to the varying outlets’ encoding specifications in both required and optional formats (including Windows Media and Flash)
- Publish your file directly to Yahoo!‘s outlets in a timely and efficient manner
Expand your syndication options
The Yahoo! Connector fits nicely with the whole suite of Connectors and syndication options that we offer with our mpsConnect service. Our other Connector outlets include AT&T, GoTV, MobiTV, QuickPlay, Comcast, Helio, MSN Video, YouTube, and iTunes.
You can also use feeds syndication to package up your files and deliver your video to sites such as Veoh, AOL, MySpace, and any other site that accepts standard XML or MRSS feeds. If you just want to syndicate your entire player, you can use our player syndication to deliver a complete video player experience to any site that will allow embedding.
