Start programming with the mps SDK
Every day our customers take advantage of our software development kit (SDK) to do amazing things with their online video solutions. With the SDK, you can extend and customize our media publishing system (mps) in many ways:

Built to scale
We developed our SDK from the ground up to be scalable and flexible. Using our SOAP-based APIs, you can use Java or any .NET language of choice to build a custom application in minutes. You can even bypass compiled frameworks and work directly with XML/SOAP if you want your web applications to work directly with mps.
The mps SDK supports development of both desktop and web-based applications. This gives you complete flexibility for building your own custom video delivery infrastructure.
Getting started
Once you download the mps SDK from our Technical Resource Center, you can run the installer on a Windows 2000 SP3, XP, or Vista machine to begin working with it. Inside the downloaded file you’ll find everything you need, including complete .NET and Java libraries. In order to use our API you will need to the appropriate security permissions for your account. Contact Support today and they can help set you up.
We provide sample code files to help you get rolling on your own applications. Written in C# and in Java, these fully commented code samples can be used as templates that you can customize to fit your custom workflow and integration needs.
