thePlatform Framework at NAB 2008
In February, we announced thePlatform framework, a collection of over 45 companies we are working with to provide the best-in-class broadband video management and publishing system. At last week’s NAB 2008, we saw thePlatform framework in action. Eight of our partners joined us in our NAB booth to showcase our integrated solutions. They included:
- adap.tv Back for a second year at NAB with thePlatform, adap.tv is an innovative online video advertising service that allows publishers and advertisers to match relevant advertising with online video content. The company has integrated with our mpsPresent Player Development Kit to analyze the video and audio in order to deliver contextually relevant ads.
- Cisco By combing thePlatform’s media publishing system with the Cisco Content Delivery System (CDS), we were able to showcase a true 3-screen experience. Video was captured on the show floor, uploaded into mps and within minutes was available on the PC, a TV via a VOD system, and a mobile phone.
- Cypress Consulting One of our favorite professional service organizations, Cypress highlighted many of the projects they’ve worked on with thePlatform.
- EdgeCast Representing a new class of content delivery networks, EdgeCast offers a superior, cost-effective global service that gives customers a competitive advantage in delivering digital media.
- GlanceGuide In one of the hottest areas of broadband video, GlanceGuide offers a hosted service for web video analytics that captures every event when a viewer watches a video, including interactions like load video, play, change sound levels, and show full screen.
- Motionbox Media companies can work with thePlatform and Motionbox to upload user-generated content from their site to thePlatform’s mps. It’s a way to build up community and create a new monetization opportunity.
- Panache By providing dynamic ad formats within our mpsPresent Player Development Kit, customers using Panache can easily update and optimize their broadband video advertising.
- SpotXchange An online video advertising network, SpotXchange supports, delivers, and tracks a variety of video advertising units including in-stream (pre-, mid-, and post-roll with companion banner), and inner-stream (overlay video ads).
